Sadly, motherhood is not very easy, especially for women in developing countries. In many of these countries, pregnancy and childbirth could be dangerous, and potentially fatal too. According to UN estimates 303,000 women die in childbirth or due to pregnancy complications, which comes to about 830 women dying every day. 99% of these deaths occur in developing nations of the world. Our Objectives
- To provide medical supply to pre and post-natal mothers.
- To provide maternity equipment, such as clothing, toiletries, and food for mothers in hospitals.
- To support mothers to attend prenatal classes.
- To support mothers to attend post-natal classes.
- To support mothers to attend family planning classes.
- To support midwives to educate mothers on the care of newborn babies.
- To support mothers to attend job training after post-natal care.
- To support mothers with finances on their small business set up.
- To set up a team of volunteers to oversee their small businesses to report back.
- To set up baby and mother group to facilitate learning
